CAREERS

Our Organization

The WCA is the designated direct service provider for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking in Douglas County. We are dedicated to helping clients stay safe and grow strong by addressing their immediate safety needs and long-term self-sufficiency.

For more than a century, we have been Omaha’s leading victim advocacy organization, exclusively serving survivors. Our multifaceted approach provides vital services, including, but not limited to, the Omaha metropolitan area’s crisis hotline, advocacy, individualized case management, pro bono legal services, therapy, peer-led support groups, self-sufficiency, and career programs.

Our Mission

The WCA is dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking and their children to achieve safety and empower them to lead self-determined lives.

Our Team

The WCA is intentional about creating an inclusive, trauma-informed environment that fosters our core values: respect, integrity, collaboration, and excellence. For that reason, our ideal team members are highly motivated individuals who care as deeply about our mission as they do about their areas of professional expertise. Their commitment to creating positive outcomes for the people we serve is a driver for how they engage, execute, and lead within our agency.

Our Work Environment

The WCA is a service organization, so working from the office is essential to collaborate and meet the direct needs of our clients. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
