The WCA is Moving in 2018!

Your gift will help us to reach more people who need help.
As more and more people make use of WCA services, we often see a standing-room only situation in our waiting room – not an ideal environment for those who have experienced trauma! Our growth has also allowed us to bring on new staff, which creates a need for more offices and meeting rooms. We’ve outgrown the limits of our current space and it’s time for a move.
Thanks to the generosity of a number of key donors, we’ve purchased a new building at 3801 Harney Street and renovations have already begun. Our move date is slated for spring 2018.
Only $250,000 to go!
The total budget needed for the WCA to move to its new home is $11 million. With only $250,000 left to go, we’re within reach of the goal! You can be part of this building with your financial gift today: Give now!
Serving More Clients
The new location will allow us to serve more clients, take on more staff, and to be even more attentive to our approach in serving women and children who have experienced violence.
Always Accessible and Welcoming
The new space will be welcoming and accessible in every way. The new location is conveniently located for our clients in midtown at 3801 Harney Street. Parking will be plentiful and it’s easy to get to from major roads and interstates.
Upping Safety and Security
Special attention has been paid to making a safe place for those who have experienced violence. We’ve created secure and separate entrances for visitors, law enforcement, and clients; the consult rooms allow clients to have a secure and private conversation with an Advocate, while keeping an eye on their children to ensure they are safe. Every detail has been carefully considered.
Designed for Trauma-Affected Families
We’ll have a special waiting area for families, so that children can be comfortable and entertained while their parent is waiting to be served. There are even trauma recovery rooms where both clients and WCA staff can go to take a moment to collect their thoughts after an emotionally taxing event.
Your Gift Can Help       Â
You can be a part of helping more women and children to achieve safety and strength. Please consider making a donation to the Within Reach capital campaign today. Your gift can be big or small, we greatly appreciate them all. Give now!
