Men's Non-Violence Program

Overview
WCA's Non-Violence Program is a part of a community response to domestic violence and not the sole means of ending domestic violence. Completion of the Non-Violence Program classes does not guarantee against future acts of domestic violence.  The purposes of this program are to: hold abusers accountable for their behavior; challenge the beliefs of abusers as related to violence; teach new skills to help abusers change their violent behavior (not saving relationships or marriages) and enhance the safety of victims, both children and adults.

·         Classes meet once a week for 36 weeks.

·         $80 intake fee.  $25 per class.

·         Class is offered at several locations and times — see flyer below for details.

Domestic Violence Support Group

Overview
This group provides continued support for women who are in or have been in abusive relationships. This is a continuum of the Foundations—Domestic Violence Education class, meaning that women have somewhere to go and feel support, but also are able to discuss issues that they continue to deal with regarding the abusive relationship. This is a safe and healthy environment for them to get this support and make connections with other women who have been through what they have been through or are going through similar issues.
